Strange, not sure on your system but BF4 is 64bit only. Tried updating drivers? all fine here on PC

system is up to it no probs there. I get all the menus and when I pause I have the options etc but theres no game play video? I have the aim thing but just white screen in front of that. will try updating drivers tho. I have an option for x86 icon and a normal BF icon as well same both times tho. do you have that origin installed and registered?

The game runs through Origin yes, have have you managed to play it without it?

edit. Duel core? a few threads on the battlelog forums about it and most people experiencing it have a duel core CPU

Yeh im duel core i think cant remember now (on phone) will check later. Whats the link for battleblog danny? And yes it did ask for origin but got round that wasnt sure if its safe origin never used it??

You need a battlelog profile to play the game as everything is launched through that, it keeps track of your stats etc.

It's good, but to be honest it's not massively different gameplay wise to BF3, although it does feel nicer to play. There's a lot of server crashes and random game crashes at the minute though which is really annoying.

There's a new message on Battlelog saying they are going to be releasing a patch shortly for the random crashes. I played through the campaign last night too, decent, but far too short.

I've got it on PS3 The graphics on mine look really bright and cartoony compared to BF3, tried playing with the settings but it's no better, not overly impressed upto now but il stick at it. I only ever play online don't bother with campaign it bores me!

got it on friday for the PS3, i really like the online and especially like the fact that you can find powerful weapons about the place like the 1 shot kill sniper rifles etc. I like the levolution too, the storms and the flooding levels are pretty cool, i'd already seen the shanghai level in the beta but still pretty cool. The attack boats are ace too, and the fact that the rhib boats have miniguns now is a massive bonus, it actually makes them useful and not a massive sitting target!

And the mobile artillery, a nice feature if not a little annoying because of the tunnel vision it gives and you find yourself getting blown up with C4 an awful lot

Only glitch i've found so far is that the sound doesn't work for the first 10-20 seconds or so online but not a massive issue. I had to up the brightness settings too but that could be my tv or something as anything indoors was impossible to see!

not getting this until its released on PS4, looks good though on the PC with the decent graphics, dont want to spoil my first impressions by playing this on the PS3.

My laptop is good enough for the game no problems there just no idea y the screen is like it is. I can launch the game without origin so bot sure if thats the problem

I think it was because I didn't go into quick match, I was just browsing all the official servers, if that makes sense.

If you're on server browser, you need to click right stick and select lobbies with 1-5 slots free.

Cheers andy, i am just going to wait the couple of weeks for it to come out on PS4, as sad as it sounds i want to start it fresh on PS4 and have a better experience rather then starting and learning it on the lesser PS3, would be good to get a decent CS squad going when its all up, mattb, wrighty, andy1868 etc.
