Refused to hold the 'No To Racism' flag prior to the game this evening

Don't know how to link it, innocent refusal or something more sinister?

Holding up a banner doesn't make you not a racist, any more than not doing so makes you one.

This is true.

If anything all it will do is draw the attention of the press and it will get blown out of proportion, regardless of his motives, for instance, he might just think the campaign is a waste of time, either way, hes probably made a rod for his own back here, sometimes its just easier to go along with the flow.

I remember when the Kick It Out campaign started in England and our then chairman, Douglas Craig, refused to sign York up to it as he viewed it as a waste of time, we were the only club who didnt, obviously this just led to us getting branded racists Eventually he backed down, because of the shit we were getting.

Although its probably worth noting, he was a cunt and a contributor to the Tory party, so was most likely a racist anyway. That or a depraved sex pervert, either way, a cunt.

Agreed. Which loops back to my question - innocent refusal or something more sinister?

Maybe not sinister but maybe he has similar opinions on racism as myself and Steve.
