As everyone else is putting up I thought I may as well.

Wasn't planning on buying for another 9-12 months but thought it was a good time to do it.

Started looking 3/4 weeks ago and saw this place last Friday and had an offer accepted Saturday afternoon. Did offer £125k to beat the stamp duty but purchased for £130k. It was originally on for £145k.

Had already been speaking to a mortgage advisor (client/friend) so knew we could get the mortgage. Got solicitor in place and the bank have instructed a surveyor to complete the valuation. There is no upper chain so hopefully not too far away from exchanging, maybe 3/4 weeks.

The pictures are from the estate agent but the only room that needs decorating is the lounge, the rest has been done recently. Nothing else needs doing to it which is a bonus.

It's an 8yr old 3 bedroom terrace up a dead end street towards the top, so no through traffic.

Looks great - congratulations.

Once your in you will change your mind about not having to do anything to the house - its great fun putting your own stamp on things

Looks nice that. I guess the only problem is no parking?

We'll do our own thing to the place but if we didn't have the time we could leave it as it is.

There isn't many cars on the street and we've been past a few times and there is always plenty of spaces outside so won't be a problem fortunately.

As soon as there is a moving in date poker will be sorted

Looks great.

I'd be concerned about the badly buried bodies at the end of the garden though.

I'd, if possible, move the front door forward so it's flush with the front of the house to create a porch and move those utility hatches or box them in.

As above, looks ready to move into. Will obvioulsy need your own stamp putting on it, but looks great congrats.

Roll on exchange day, then you can give out a sigh of relief and gain expectations of it all becoming real

8 year old? Pisses me off when neighbours start painting their houses . I think all houses that are joined should have to keep original . Looks nice house . Raised graves are a nice feature
