heading to 1/4 mile next month. currently its a standard c20xe just wondering what psi would i need to run with 14" tyres
also apart from stripping it out any other ideas to get a quicker time

depends on the type of tyres really, i used about 8psi in the R888's up front and about 42psi in the skinny road going cheap 14's in the back, also low on fuel = less weight and if your takign a lot of weight out think about where its coming out of, ideally you want it out from the rear to get traction down making a better 60ft time and launch

also let me know what it does, my mates got a 13.7 on a completely stock c20xe in a corsa. think a lot of it comes down to the day though, prep, weather, wind direction, air temp etc...

i weighed it before stripping. 950kgs 320 in the rear 630 at front. not exactly 50/50 weight balance
13.7 standard? id be expecting high 14s low 15.
tyres are just crappy road tyres unfortunately.

Cudn't have got a 13.7 in standard xe corsa surely?
My Astra GTE 16v (1000kg) did 15.3

In my standard XE Corsa I got 15.3
In my Corsa LET running 230bhp I got 13.7
The launch with as less wheel spin as poss makes a massive difference!

going buy iphone app i get 14.8 but no doubt not very accurate. cant wait to see what it will do. just going to use the 14" steels that are on it
what wheels were yous fella using?

Irmscher softstars 16" started off at 32psi then droped them to 14psi which took about .4 of a sec off!

you must be doing something wrong then
Corsa C20XE 13.7 @ 98 MPH
can vouch it was a stock as they come engine. only this is it had a fse adjustable reg on and SOME weight took out
still had all its glass, all its metal, all its dash with matrix. just sound deadening and seats removed.
car has been broke now though

Yes mate toyo tr1s.
The engine is standard and the rear seats have been removed. Ive not even removed the sound deadning yet.
