Some people on here are so negative. Jed built a budget drag car that ran some decent times. Why cant people on a corsa forum just be glad it was built and used instead of throwing insults about all the time? Im sure whatever is built next will come back even better and still embarassing more expensive motors.

People are spending thousands more for a second or so faster on the strip.
Built to his spec, car has unfortunately been damaged, and all you people can do is taunt him.
Should be congratulating him on what he achieved by himself.

And he's hardly down, if he wants another car to bodge together and go racing again, he'll do that. I get the feeling he's not that bothered seen as there's a thread about it. I personally wouldn't do that if I was gutted about needing to scrap a shell. Particularly when I can pick another one up for 50 quid and continue having the same hobby on the cheap.

Those who get upset because someone voiced an opinion about their car need to do the same, even more so when it's not even their car.

Also if you are making no attempt to make it look good, which is completely fair enough when you are just chasing times, I've no idea why you'd get so worked up when some said it looked shit.
