For a while now ive know that some of the rings on my gsi have gone and the hydrolic tappets are on their way out. wanna know what peeps think i should do. repair the 1.6 with the aim of gettin over 200bhp or drop in a 2l turbo and run a gearbox from one of the smaller vauxhalls. help!!

you need an f28 with a 2l turb or it will rip the others to shreads.

might be good, would limit the top end cos it's closer ratio but would accelerate faster

thats the plan, but i dont know if any one does an lsd for the diesel box, or if it will fit!! but im not too hot on the idea of a 150mph corsa!!

Akeemking had a 1.7TD box and got his to 130mph, but that's with a 5200 rev limit

that sounds bout right for what i want, should do close to 140 then with a limit at like 7000, (maybe!!!!)

its only rated for 130 ibls ft of torque, my 1.5 td develeopes more than that, it will shread it.

oh, the diesel box is wide ratio, not close ratio.

f13 wr, sport/ sri has f13 cr

AS said, u will need an F28. Will rip a F20 to bits after a few thousand miles.

i can blow it up and leave the sump in give me half hour and some tyres
i gaurantee itll explode i may take the gear box with it tho
