Picked it up today, best hot hatch I've owned. Put an instant smile on your face, run flats will be got rid of and suspension raised slightly.

Why would you change the suspension when the suspension the car comes with does the same job?

That's like anything on a car, it obviously works or it wouldn't be on the car. It's like saying why do people change their exhausts? They all do the same thing don't they?

It was quite clear what Flaffy meant.

Bought it off my dad now

He's gone and got a Meriva which suits him better.

Needs a good service, wheels off and spacers removed, lower bit of plastic under front bumper trimmed to stop scrapping.

In desperate need of new tyres, might go silly and get Pilot Sports for it as it needs very little else.

I've got some Powerflex wishbone bushes from my old one that I never got around to fitting that will stop the wandering on uneven surfaces, that with the tyres and a proper Geo set up should make it spot on.

Jesus Christ how much did you pay for it off your old man?

Make sure they use Motul LL04 in it, not the Castrol edge stuff BMW use.

Its had coolant and full brake fluid change within the last 18 months

Hi update TTT

So far

I've changed stabiliser mount, cut the lip from under bumper so no more scraping, removed the spacers. Fitted an aux in socket for standard stereo, 4x Hankook V12 Evo tyres

Just had front end sprayed as well as was getting tatty, few other bits touched up so it truly is immaculate now.

I serviced it few weeks back, had all previous fault codes deleted and changed map sensor as it was showing a fault.

Made 208bhp 190lbFt on rollers so it's nice and healthy

What size pulley is on this? And did you keep the side bits on the lip to keep the bumper held down. The bits on the side with the two plugs?
