Hello , i thought this was best in here as it still is car related. Im doing a uni project where i have to "set" up a mobile barbers inside a van. So I need to put all the costs down. Although its only on paper i dont have to actually convert a van.

What would be needed to get hot running water inside of a van ? , the van in question is going to be a merc sprinter

any help would be great

thanks

What quantity of water? You'll have to factor in water tank size and how much water you need to be able to flow

yeah i thought about looking at camper vans , but people who are in America have seemed to converted vans , and i've done to much research into the conversion of a van , running costs , insurance etc to sorta go back now , its only because when we looked into the legal side it says you need enough hot water to wash scissors etc. Its just a rough business plan but its a cost i need to include

What about a tea urn type thing. Surely one of those is more than enough for a barber per day.

Do a mobile fish tank maintenance company instead, where you drive to people houses a check/clean/maintain their aquarium.

I might do it one day as rich people love fish, but can't be arsed with the cleaning.

Our local burger van guy uses a tea urn and has a better good hygiene certificate than the local Chinese.

One of them plus a 100l tank of cold water with an electric water pump to refill the tea urn would work
