For me its bizarre to think that they've gone from being a fairly regular sight to not being able to remember the last time I saw one on the road.

Advert for a Corsa SRi describing it as a retro car, and I can remember sitting in one brand new in the showroom.

Was thinking about something similar last night - Astra SRi Turbos. I don't like the front bumper but there's probably about 2/3 of the original 500 left.

Give it 10 years and that's going to be as sought after as a mk3 GSI

I think DVLA recognises them so you can probably get a number off howmanyleft

Think my brothers did a few hundred miles between MOTs. That's completely standard and one owner and being kept until it starts going back up.

I don't think I have ever seen a 100% standard GSi. I'd like to know how many are actually left untouched.

I often drive along and think Older or newer to each car i see, its mainly older, like 90% of car i pass are newer than 1995.

Literally see hardly any old cars now. Not seen a Fiesta XR2 for years, Pug 309?, i actually see a few corsa gsi's about, but not many

I used to have one back in the day, a nice smoke grey one, was all standard only payed £500 used to love that thing, even then people would ask if it was a genuine gsi.
then i set about doing things to it, lost my lock up and ended up scrapping it
