Not really done much with this since pvs, noticed a slight oil leak from the rocker the other day. I check the levels every week, rocker gasket was leaking badly and the oil filler cap

Whipped it all off

Gave the head a clean timing chain isn't slack which is nice

Cleaned the oil from the head and rocker gasket and put it back together and it's all good as new now

Done 70k now

Can't fault this little car keeps battling on, took it to retro rides at weekend averaged 50mpg. Put the cesaros on just for the speedlines to be spare for my let b.

I've bought a few bits for it ...
C SRi rear beam and front brakes. Beef up the look a bit

Going to fit new pads and discs and paint everything up

Got a couple of M32"s from work and the corsa swallowed them up easily

Yeah they do look small but if you spaced them out it might work.

Silver might make them look too small on a C but maybe anthracite, I think without centres they look quite like compomotives

So I had a day off last week and decided to get this beam and brakes on (after a clean and paint)

Just a quick tip for anyone who's going to do this the abs plugs at the back just pull off there right but they do ! Here's what they look like

I didn't picture everything I just cracked on so some pics are missing but all the brakes are on with brand new pads and discs all round.

Comparison of size on the front discs

Old set up

Old beam off

Painted and polybushed

Can't explain how much better the rear end feels with the polybushes I'm going to do the front soon as they transform the car.

I noticed the cv clip had broken aswell when I was doing the brakes

It had come loose some how and spat some grease out but not a lot so one big jubilee clip

I also put a touch more grease in

Aswell the eml came on the other day :,( did a diagnostic check and it was my egr that was at fault. I'm guessing it had stuck open as it idled fine. I took it off once and cleaned it but to no avail so got a second hand one from eBay. Gave it a good clean and fitted it and no eml happy corsa c and me

Off with the old

On with the new

That's it so far I havnt got any photos of the front brakes and I didn't have time to paint the rear callipers and carriers
