Random 'Out of interest' thread this, but does anyone on here use these?

Seems like the world and his dog are talking about the value skyrocketing, but I have literally no idea what you use them for!

Are real people using them or just the geeks?

If you got in a year or two ago then you're in the winnings but mining now is a little pointless. As a currency it's useful for anonymity but i can see the whole thing folding within a few years anyway.

This is what I was thinking.

Theres some serious money pouring into it, someone is going to lose a lot and lose it fast.

Probably wise not to amplify your nerdy tendencies too much mate, good call

I still don't think that saying Bitcoin and by extension it's related features, be it wallets or others BS you'll know the terminology for being exploited is too far fetched a statement to make. The fact most people are numpties towards it like myself means they too treat news articles in the same fashion I would and see it as having issues, hence the prices dropping when problems with it are reported.
