I think he is looking at 5 years for firearms offences. I'm sure I read earlier that his defence admitted he was guilty of this, but I can not find it now.

The bit I just saw on the news seems to say he will get convicted of culpable homicide. The judge said that he rushed to use the gun and took no steps to avoid shooting. Faces up to 15 years.

Apparently, they could put him on suspended sentence or let him off with a fine now, although the crime carries a maximum 15 year sentence it's very unlikely.

There were photo's online of his jail cell. Everyone saying it was cushy etc. I thought it was pretty small tbh. Only luxury was a bathroom.

I'm pretty sure that a "cushy" cell in SA is still not a nice place to be.

I'm still half and half on it all, obviously all the press coverage is going to paint him as guilty as we love watching "celebrities" fall from grace.

But he was an absolute state during the trial, and she was way out of his league, why would he murder her. Also, he was loaded, if he wanted her dead he had no need to get his hands dirty
