im getting corbra seats but i an thinking can i keep the pretensioner and seat belt for now and then put harneses in at a later date and take the pretensioners out along with orginal belts.

but use the same subframe for both?

my buckets are mounted onto the original subfames and i still have seatbelts and harnesses in

speak to m2rv_h, he just used a couple of strips of angle iron onto the origanal subframes, loads cheaper. he also still has orignal belts etc..

alright, the cobra frames can be used with/without seatbelts but using seatbelts is a pain as the fixing are very very very tight!

i made my own, 4 bits of angel iron, and i still use the vaux subframe and hight adjustment also

basicly a box shape, with 8 holes, 4 for the orriginal subframe, 4 for the new seat

how thick is the iron?
and how does the seat bolt to the frame?
i havent seen em yet
i can get some made up. blacksmith down the road

yes, pretensioners are still in. the seat bolts to the frame via some hole which he drill on the angle iron. this angle iron is then mounted to the subframe using another set of holes.
its about 6mm thick stuff of the top of my head.

didnt use a welder, just a case of bolting on.

u can, but its a squeeze

by law, front seats must recline more than 45 degrees in a 3 door car

i e-mailed corbra to see if the meatl bar thing can be done we know it can just wanted to c if they new about it

so i did
and this is what they sent back

Sorry Adam, that's incorrect. Our Corsa frame replaces the original and costs £64.95 including VAT and Carriage and is in stock.
