Thanks all I knew you'd come around a bit when they were fitted!

I don't really see anyone running 18s on these cars and I don't think it would look right the standard wheels were only 15"

Can't believe how close the centre colour of the wheels is to the delphin grey paint!

They look better but I'm still not 100% sure, I think when you space them out and lower it it might just work

Looks like they've been doing the one in this thread.

Sorry, wheels don't work for me!

Love the car, love the wheels. But I feel like they don't work together. Car needs some older style wheels, them bbs look too modern I think?

Can't help but feel that would look better Alpina's or something else less modern

Look better than I thought they would and agree about spacers and lowered more etc

But I never mentioned that it was RWD so therefore cool.

No, I did. But a lot of cars are now classed as cool because they have a decent engine and RWD even though they are go damn ugly!

It's because our generation consider Astras, Focus RS' and old hatchbacks with big engines in to be the be all and end all.

I'd much sooner have a blast driving a tatty old S body than strap £26,000 on a crappy Focus RS just because it's new and 'cool'

I don't think they are all that either.

I do like old cars but it just seems that RWD = Cool, no matter what it looks like.

But the E24 is a well loved classic shape. Anyway you're entitled to your opinion but you put it across in a silly way for effect.

Cars don't have to look good to be cool. Take the R31 Skyline, it looks horrible but it's still stupidly cool IMO.

Swings and roundabouts really.
