I have this buzzing come rattle between 3500 -3700 rpm coming from floor area around the tunnel hump behind the front seats in my Barina/Corsa 1.8 16V SRi, could it be cat baffles, any ideas.

sounds like your right, it could be the baffles. But just check it isent the exhaust thats sitting badly and vibrating against the floor.
