Had the Type R up for sale about 3/4 weeks now, only had 4 people get in touch to offer swaps which i dont want.


Starting to get rage with it.

cant give the 54 reg fiesta away...

at first it was up for 2.1k..... then ended up taxing it, and dropping all the way down to 1600

only got to 1330, reserve not met on ebay...

I sold the Mrs polo last month no one wanted to pay 1000 for it so I put it on eBay with no reserve it fetches 790. Was pissed off tbh

Surely just with xmas coming up and being in winter now, seems to be affecting all cars and not just performance ones

I noticed on Swapz, 99% wanna swap their 2.0L's for 1.4's.

Always sell my cars within a week if not less. Must be pricing yourself out of the market.

Can't grumble at ebay, you can sell the car in as little as a day and generally get 'what it's worth'.

just this second had a bloke view my 2004 fiesta, got me down to £1200!!! then ended up walking away

its got 6 month tax and test, proof of timing belt, water pump, fan belts, 3pc clutch kits, oil filter, plugs leads...... loads of paper work to show major work carried out just less than 2 month ago....
only needs a back box as its starting to burble a bit, that alone put him off

Can't sell my Gold GT TDi either

Loads of receipts, full MOT and only £2300 which is really cheap for a 150PD!

Saying that some one left a deposit for it but hasn't turned up for a week!

I got one offer for my 2010 Civic Type R, which was a straight swap for an A4 convertible.

I ended up selling back to Honda.

For these "cheaper" cars is it not worth a punt at webuyanycar?

Nothing is selling. I have 4 up for sale at the mo but nothing's going. All under £700. Normally sell them with in 2 weeks but no enquiries so far.

Sold my Astra last week, after having it up for sale for a week.

I wouldn't say it was because of christmas etc, theres never a bad time of the year imo.

People still need cars. They sell a car, and buy another. Its just a circle really regardless of the time of year.

I really struggled selling my EP3 a few months ago. Ended up stripping all the mods off it and letting the missus have it as her Astra will probably sell easier.
