Thoughts on these? The 1.5 turbo seem to be eaily remapped to 200bhp, which would be fairly nippy in a small car

Anyone experienced them?

I have the ralliart mate, which is the newer version but exactly the same engine.

Mines currently on 190bhp without a remap and still needs de catting

Comfy inside, seats could be better but still hold you just enough.

Only problems I know of these, and I helped with the start up of www.cztoc.co.uk, is that the ecu's are really sensitive and the windows mist up inside really easy.

I love my car so I'm sure you would like it too.

Not really fella, just the the ecu's are abit fussy when modding so can go into limp mode. But turn the car on and off again an its back to normal. If you were close to me I would let you out in mine to test lol

Well, there fast and handle great...but can always be made better. The standard engines are 147bhp, I've spent just under 600 and gained good power. Lowering is deffo necesary just for the looks really but at £100 for all four springs is great. They do surprise people at how fast they are.

The thing you have to look at is that you can buy a great condition one for 3500 but for a similar state vxr they would be over 7K still. So to me, you get a lot of car for not much money.

No mate, I bought mine standard, I'm the second owner.
It was dyno'd at 180bhp an 218ft-lb before the exhaust.
But with these cars they have two cats, with my new zaust the second cat was binned.

So as standard it pulled 180bhp and 218lb/ft?? From the 1.5?? No chance.

No mate, it was standard at 147, it's past 180 now with Airfilter, DV, and exhaust.

I've got a print out of the dyno for 180bhp without the zaust and a 200cel cat on and gone.

I will get the dyno printout and bung it up tomorrow.

not even with a remap? just literally a filter and an exhaust? I could understand with a remap but thats a massive increase and i dont expect standard ecu would compensate for all of that?

Mate, that was before the exhaust too, so BOV and Airfilter. Ecu's act differently for each car on these, some love mods some don't, it's very weird.

Remap will be after a front mount and de cat, apparently these cars can only have an ecutec remap so are really hard to get.

The remap guy says we can get between 20-30bhp after the remap too so I'm looking at around 220 after everything is done.

If you we're close enough I would show you. May try and get a video of the speed/how it goes.

I'm unsure why I gained that much mate, I don't do engines as I break them.

I hear what you are saying but i think they might have made an error or the graph is wrong maybe?

you got to understand such a massive increase from fitting an air filter is highly unlikely? 147bhp to 220 with an air filter, exhaust, IC and remap?, 70bhp is almost 50% an increase in engine power

that would be like getting an extra 130bhp on a newage impreza sti from just an exhaust filter and remap, the figures are just ludicrous!?

I get you mate, I know that they are the only bits added.

I've payed about 600 in total, 95 for Airfilter, 180 for bov and 290 for the exhaust.

RR'd at 180 without the exhaust, the second cat gone and now it's on better fuel.

Looking forward to the next RR day.

Hum, research on the internet shows up that these have the same engine as the brabus forfour which is 177 standard (only on super unleaded). There is a lad running 207 with only a remap aswell, which i guess 30 is feasible.

Czt's do push out about 180bhp with just exhaust and filter. The owners club always have rolling road days to prove this. I have had 2 Czt's now and they are pretty bullet proof.
