Sitech sells the jamsport packages, so if he gets a customer who wants a 420hp RS, he just buys all the bits as a trader from jamsport then sells it to his customer as a JS420 kit.

Less development costs that way.

They map their own aftermarket stuff but they used to use jamsport for all std ecu stuff, they now use js, revo and I know he has done the odd one himself but not many.

I thought JamSport were in essence the same sort of thing as SiTech?! An aftermarket tuning company, not a brand like Forge, Pro-R, Cosworth etc

Suppose if JamSport make stuff, and Sitech sell it on then yes... but cant see how JamSports rep transfers in that case

I was more referring to the fact that Jamsport who a very reputable in the ford world are endorsing them then i would imagine that their work is to a relatively high standard otherwise jamsport would be committing suicide putting their name in conjunction with their work if its poor.

Seen a lot of stuff on GTRoc about them.... would need to search to re-find but a friend has his Focus RS engine built at Sitech.... the results were not good. 2nd or even 3rd time round it lasted more than a day or two. Dont know the exact issues... just what I was told.

I'll check GTRoc. Also remember there being mentions off Simon threatening folk and what not.

Interesting read. My mate had his 450bhp focus RS done there and it had a few niggles but was soon sorted out.

i really do not know where jamsport get there name from, theyve worked on 2 of my friends cars, one of them they turbod his fiesta st first 1 of 2 ever done, and the work is shoddy, the turbo touches the bulkhead and the intercooler is hanging off. terrible job, and the other is an rs turbo they fitted a brand new cam too and mapped. they never ran the cam in, and half way through the map it chewed the cam up and wrecked his top end. They bodgers, nothing more.

I don't work at js anymore but was very involved in the running of the company for 6 years up to Xmas. The st turbo kit was done after I left, is your mate Jordan?

As for the cvh eating a cam, won't be the first! Wot be the last. What cam was it? Every cvh cam I saw fitted was run in. 90% of Kent and piper cams I saw fitted had problems, we stopped supplying them for cvh in the end.

As above EVERY tuning company will have good and bad stories and interet forums will go wild for a bad story!

my dad always says never read reviews.

when i go on holiday and have a great time, i don't come home and write a good review online, praising them.

when i have a shit time and the place is full of cockroaches, i'll probably be more inclined to write a cunt of a review to vent my anger.
