No questioning our form has been shit so far this season. We're hopefully on the way to recovery though.
Looking forward to your next few months fixtures, City, United, Chelsea, Liverpool, spurs and Everton. Will be interesting to see if you will keep form and make some upsets, cant see it happening though.
West ham have always been decent for their kids tbf, would have expected a different answer, no doubt you'll attract decent youngsters anyway.

Steve has a point, selling those kind of players was a ridiculous thing to do, especially when they havnt replaced them.
Also i think around 7th is how good the team is, yes they should be aiming to be the best in England again but at the moment they're nowhere near. I understand what the plan is but its going to be tough until then because before the young players become great i would only class Gerrard and Suarez (not as the only striker though) as the great players.
I cant see within the next couple of years Liverpool finishing higher than the Newcastle/Everton little group that they have been in, if some players dont come in January then the likes of Stoke, etc could easily finish higher than Liverpool.
It will work out for them eventually though, just be prepared for that mid table position until then.

Maxi wanted to go and finish his career at another club and Bellamy was always going to Cardiff, Kuyt we've had for years and served us well, Carroll we still have and money from West Ham will go on someone decent, even Steve is better at football than Adam.

Agree Kenny... 7th is where we are realistically aiming, hopefully 6th though, we actually need to rebuild, however can't see us been in the top 4 untill our youngsters actually play more senior games and really show what they've shown in our youth squad, ontop of that bringing quality players into the side, which will be hard.
Hoping to finish no lower than 7th this year, if we do I think our board may not even fund us the money we need to strenghten the team then we will go right down the shitter.
