Was just wondering if a power cap would make much of a diffrence?
And if anyone had one for sale?

But what are you changing from? I'm assuming you have an ecotec pipe atm? The ecotec pipe has actually been tested against a power cap on the rollers and the ecotec pipe came out on top.

Produced more power and better torque throughout the revs.

Someone should have the graphs.

the power cap are there for looks more then anything mate and for the price of one it's just not worth it.

I used a Powercap because the ecotec pipe is rubber and just splits

if i remember rightly the std sfi box was better than both of them

Lol well has anyone got a power cap for sale as I really don't want to be spending £100 on one off eBay if it not really worth it just want it for the looks really

I had a power cap on my Xe corsa, then changed to a Eco tec. Found the power cap made it better at 100+ mph but up to 100 the ecotec pipe was better. Just what I felt it was like. I also know a guy who might still have one if you want me to ask? He bought my engine and took both intake pipe and power cap

The power cap is ment to be better for Torque, but i did hear the sfi box with a good filter and drilled a little bit is ment to be better than them both

Yea if you could ask please and yea I have heard that the sfi box is the best but don't really look good under the engine bay lol

When you fit the ecotec pipe, the adapter plate blocks off half the throttle body, with the power cap it doesn't.

I noticed that barnes with mine when i took it off!
