mum called me down into the yard and my passenger window has been smashed. well shattered, no one has been driving since tuesday (when i took gf home at night) and its just happened apprantly. Anyone else had this before? Lucky for me the tint film caught all the glass, anyway got RAC autowind screens coming tomorrow to replace it, £70 not that bad i suppose but its another 70 quid I could do without paying AND after that I gotta book the car into R-TEC again to get it tinted, another £70!

someone cheer me up

My mum took out the patio window with a stray stone from the strimmer once. They made a replacement which was the wrong size, then made one the right size and dropped it. Took us about 2 weeks to get a new window

Whoops edited cos I never read info properly

RAC only charged me about £40 to get mine done when it happened to me Was going back a few years mind you and I had to take it to their local shop which was only about 2 mins drive away though.

Yeah looks like a strimmer did it. There's a white spot in the top right of the window that looks like the centre of the smash? Well it does to me anyway.

Sorry dude, it's an absolute pisser when it happens

gotta laugh at R-tec's window tint pricing. They dont do any of it themselves but offload to a nice little company a little distance away! They are con-artists.........especially when you find out how much the little company charges them to do it!
