having my wheel retrimmed, existing one is looking a little worn and lets the interior down. Having it redone with perforated sides like the one below.

On mine, (although it is a bit larger) 100mph = the same force as 14stone being pit on it.

For your side skirts just do the same thing, stick them out about 3" and you will notice a good degree of downforce.

Some clever boffin on the site worked it out.

Im not sure yours will generate that much an its a bit smaller than mine but it will do more than nothing.,

Are you having issues with your front end lifting at speed or understeer through fast corners?

Or is it purely asthetics?

Took a trip to Jack Smiths at the weekend. Left Liverpool at 3.30 in the morning, pootled down and came across some mega roads (some may recognise from topgear!)

Top itself is good, few little bits i've tidied up, spot of glue i've picked off and threads that needed trimming but for £280 i really cannot complain. Ray's a nice chap, says it how it is! don't use him if you're easily offended! his workshop is down some shady alley way in swansea.

so roof before. Wasn't the worst of conditions but never liked the blue anyway!

all fitted and on my way home. Was advised to leave roof shut for 24hours to aid the glue to set

Managed to crack the proper camera out in the morning and take advantage of some mega roads!

fly collection

gave the top a quick wipe down once i was home and applied some of this

Also had chance to test fit my splitter onto a car with the OEM lip.

Unfortunately doesn't fit without fiddling around with it! Never mind. when i get chance i'll make one that does!

Righto, more progress, sides made, fitted and they're not budging. got them made in the special black i've ordered in too.

finished product complete with protective wrapping

The material is gloss black one side and matt black the other, these can be flipped to suit your preference!

The only thing i can see (critical eye) people may not like is the finished edge being silver. This is barely visible looking down on the car it's only really when you're on eye level with them.

I have thought about this, and this product
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121160078711?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

will sleeve over the edge to hide this.

Great work on the splitter. Have you considered commissioning a batch in carbon? Sure they'd sell, most likely for a nice profit.

made a limited number to sell on as they are, few companies already offering carbon versions for £150+ for skirts and £200+ for splitter/lips. I'm only charging £60 for the lip and £60 for the skirts so they should sell pretty quick as they are

a rather wet Oulton Park yesterday

Fell off the track on the chicane on the sighting laps... bit too much drifting but never hit anything. About 8 cars throughout the day crashed so that gives you an idea how wet it was! roof stayed down all day regardless

Need to sort my bushes and bolts next before i get back on track, a job for next month i think.

What was the point of the roof being down? Besides giving you a shower.
