Haven't been watching, so only saw the one in the 6 yard box.

Cavani has been awful this tournament. He's rated at what, 35m or so?

Absolutely brilliant from Jamieson in the butterfly this games. British record in the heats, British record in the semi and a British record in the final only beat by a World record. Chuffed for him, he comes from about 2 miles away from where I stay - my wee brothers girlfriend trained with him.

Viccy Pendleton goes tomorrow.

So i've got Japan v Egypt on Saturday at OT.

Not exactly excited by that but i'm taking my old man who's not been to a footy match since about 1960 so should be good.

What's with all the swimming? Seems every time I flick through there is some kind of swimming event on. How much longer can that go on for?

Whats why its possible to win lots of medals in the pool. IMO the evens are just a bit too close to each other. Would be like having

100m, 150m, 200m, 300m, 400m on the track.

And then varieties of that too. So all the above forwards, backwards, skipping, side step and forward rolls.

He added: "I think they jeer me and they boo me here because they must be scared of facing a player like me. They fear me, but that doesn't affect me."

You got it Luis, you and all of your zero goals are a scary prospect.

So far from the games I have taken on board that asians are cheats and or sore losers.

Korean bird sitting down in the fencing after losing.

The badminton fiasco.

The Japs complained in the mens team gymnastics.

A Jap complained after losing in the boxing yesterday (although TBF, he did actually have a point)
