Starts Saturday....might as well have a thread for TDF chat.

Who's gonna be watching?

Anyone fancy a CS Fantasy League?

it's Wiggins tour to lose IMO especially now Schleck is out. The TT stages will be key for him.

He only crashed last year cos he was mincing round at the back! Sky will have him up the front out of danger for pretty much the entire tour! Even Cav and Bernie will be riding for him this year! If anyone won't finish, it will be Cav as he wants to win the Olympics desperately. Got a feeling Boonen will win that BTW.

Would like to see Sagan win green jersey. He's a monster.

Watched a bit of the prologue yesterday and had the missus asking questions... Confused the hell out of her telling her it started in Belgium.

They were suggesting the Russian guy was a good outside be for it, De gussev or something? can't remember now, think he's 14/1 I saw on SSN.

I haven't got a clue who's going to win it tbh. The guy that won the prologue yesterday absolutely spanked everyone else

He's a legend. In the Strade Bianchi earlier this season he just fucked off with about 30km to go and no one got near to him.

Sagan did the business yesterday. My tip for the green jersey in one of my post above off to a strong start!

Cavendish gets todays stage. Just. Proves he doesn't need a full on lead out train to win stages and can beat the guys that do have a train.

They didn't. The others were all around Wiggins. Cav had Edvald with him then decided to tag onto what was left of Greipels train.

Eisel been to team car already today. Hip injury from yesterday causing him issues. If Sky lose him too they're fucked.

I hate watching Greipel win. One of my least favourite sprinters along with Ferrari and Petacchi.

Tomorrows another flat stage I'd love to see Cav get that 22nd stage win.

He looks so awkward when he sprints.

Re sky I think we need to realise that was never meant to be an out and out lead out train. More a case of get the riders up the front out the way and safe.

Have any of you lot been reading about all the Armstrong doping allegations. Pretty interesting and in some cases damning for old Lance. Positive tests that he and the UCI made go away. Donations from Lance to UCI, team mates saying he sorted them out with EPO and that they saw him injecting himself etc.

Apparently all a big cover up helped by the UCI. Case of someone actually being bigger than the sport (potentially)

Will be interesting to see where this goes.

Wiggins in yellow. Froome wins the stage. Good day for British cycling!

So cool to see Cav stuffing his jersey full of bottles back at the team car. World Champ, sprinter extraordinaire and super domestique to boot!
