Im looking at the possiblility of buying a corsa c van(not combo)

What is there I need to look out for on the engines??

Any common problems?

I have found a few and some are 1.7di, others are 1.3?

You probably know but the insurance on "car derived vans" is more then just a car, you have to insure them on a business type of insurance policy.

Di would be turbo but no intercooler, dti is turbo and intercooler.

Motors should go on and on.

CDTI is 1.3 and about 75bhp, so a bit more grunt but a more fragile engine.

13.6 0-60

They don't seem great, for example my Megane 1.9 Diesel has 300NM of torque and the 1.7 Di has 130NM, thought maybe they wouldn't be too bad as it's a diesel and has torque but that doesn't seem a lot at all, seems pretty low for bhp and torque. Must do amazing MPG !

Di 1.7 go forever mine done around 200,000 when I sold it and I still see it driving around propper solid engines, also made it quicker swapped the gear box for a low ratio box which only made the top speed around 98mph instead of the 112mph I used to get ( on private roads ) but alot nippier off the lights
