The cage in parts will be around £250 then have to get it painted and fitted. Coilovers I'm hoping for around 700ish.

can you not budget for 6 point? 4 point is a definite improvement over nothing, but wont do a great deal in terms of roof collapse, especially at the front section. If you are going to the hassle of getting a cage made up i would have thought better to have a couple of forward sections done at the same time cant be that much more

6 point I could do. But I don't wish to cut holes in the carpet at the front. All depends what the cage builder has to say on Friday have a budget of around 1k for the cage anyway.

Where's the harness bar?

Only place I can see is right at the back?

What colour you going? Installed in time for Snetterton?

That's a picture of an r26r cage so it's similar. Will have a single cross piece in the main hoop then a harness bar. I'm hoping for it to be in for snetterton but have to find some one to weld and profile the ends.

Nice, be interesting to see the inlet temps etc with this on track and compare them to what you were running before. I did have a look at these and mentioned it on megane sport, but if it ain't branded they think it's crap lol

Prob the reason their ain't a lot for the megane with their attitudes. Ud think it wAs a maserati some of them had haha

Thinking of either black or the same colour as the car.

Well stripped the rear and removed all the sound deadening ready for the cage install tomorrow.

And the colour the cage will be once installed.

Have a fitted carpet to go over the floor too
