Reasons for buying it-

Its newer, better built, better looking, better colour, better wheels, better handling, better interior, lower mileage.

Reasons for not buying it and keeping GT -Its slower.

Hmm, speaks for itself.

I would like to make my car look just like Andy's GT, but I can't be arsed.

I would rather just buy back a car that has already had everything done to it.

Yes, this is true also.

I don't want to be seen as a boy racer in my sooped up Corsa.

This worrys me, although this is the way forward.

Mate definately buy the Sxi back... It looks absolutely sweet, a lot nicer than a punto imo.

£3500 is so cheap! its a bargain... only 8 months ago or so a standard sxi was minimum £4k-4.5k!

This is still kitted up e.g. wheels etc, so minus all the mods and the cars only costing you about £1.5k-£2k

The other thing is that by buying it like it is and then dropping the 2.0 litre in yourself you know the conversions been well done...

buying a 2.0 converted car and then modding the styling you could end up with a engine that's been ragged to death.

I say corsa

I know which I think looks best... and once you get the money to do the conversion the corsa will be fast too

If you're unsure whether to purchase, lower your price and let the seller decide. I reckon he'll go to £3k

yeh but steve its not like he has a 106 gti and is pondering on going back to his corsa. They look like mini Estates - All boxy at the back... my mates got a totally modded punto thats ok, but still not as nice as what could be done to a corsa.

Paul J

In my opinion 106 Gti's look nice, Punto's do not.

Andys Punto is nice, although I can never afford to do all what has been done to his to mine.

And it would be a suprise to all if I turned up in my SXi everywhere again

I feel the year I have been without her part of me has been missing
