Wonder if we'll see a few 4-6-0 formations about this season then.

I like watching them when they actually try to score goals like today. Couple of brilliant through balls for the goals

Yep can't disagree with that. Good to watch in this game. But no denying the rest of the tournament they have been pretty boring.

Hope not but then if Villa was fit and Torres was the Torres of 3 seasons ago then Spain wouldn't be playing the formation imo.

Aye agreed. I dont think any team has enough quality midfielders to pull it off anyway.

Can't think of any team in England that could do it successfully

I still think they lack something without the striker, I would have played Negredo or Llorente.

The Portugal game was a one off, they would have a far better shape with a target in the box.

We ended up with no midfielders in our team towards the end of last season.

Well, we had one, but he was playing right back

Centre back playing the holding role and a left back + right back playing more advanced. Worked alright

Was some good games early on, went to pot when the knockout stages started though. This final is just fading out though

He probably will as well. He has a habit of falling over the ball and then scoring the most unlikely winners nowadays.

"i guess this is what people say is boring?" ..... Yes, passing it around on halfway when you're playing a tired 10 men is boring. No-one is denying it works but its boring.
