Handle lights are a good easy mod. Guy at my old place did it and it's very easy. Plus it means your ET led's will be gone.

been a busy bee today..

i got a bit of a bargain and got a snazzy usb/ipod/aux coverter kit for £30 brand new over on ///M3cutters. Basicly it uses the feed for the 6 disc changer. It means i lose the abillity to play cds now but i retain the standard harmon kardon head unit and speakers (i think theyre great quality) whilst being able to connect mp3 players, ipods and usb sticks.

I will be using the usb stick form..

4 gig sticks.. can have 594 tracks on each split accross 6 folders. The set up basicly tricks the head unit into thinking each folder is one of the cds in the changer with 99 tracks on it. I get track titles on the headunit and can use the oem steering controls to navigate. cool eh

so i started with this..

pulled this back

then ended up with this (anyone needs one give me a pm as its going on fleabay)

and ended up put back, need a cubby whole or may just leave it (will never use it)

i then pulled this out

threaded some wires through

changed this while im on (cough tom)

fitted this up

need to order some more white bulbs (footwells, above rear seats, boot, number plate(canbus)) as well as order some door handle puddle lights. May order some cfl angel eyes when i get paid too and wire them to be on with ignition aswell as the puddle lights. Aswell as spacers and depneding how the mrs is feeling some bilstein shocks as i love how it sits now and with coilies ill end up slamming it.

Also have just remembered i need to trim my wheel nut covers down too when i get a moment- when i get spacers tbh

STILL WAITING ON IT PAINTED

thats a pretty cool bit of kit. why not just get the aux in factory kit? would've been able to keep the cd changer then for re-sale.
