Corsa with 1.6 GSI engine when put foot on clutch or slowly down at junctions car cuts out any1 any ideas speedo is not working either could the 2 be linked to same problem

Any1 had problem or know what mite be would be great

Sounds like the idle control valve mate, you got the engine light on?

a friend of mine had a problem similar to this and turned out to be idle control valve. Get a tester on it mate

Na bud engine management light is not coming on at all and car is still driving fine just cuts out

Try do a paper clip test mate, but this happened to me and turned out it was the icv. Cost about 85 quid brand new

happend to my corsa when it had a c16xe when scotty was using it was the spedo wasnt working fixed the cabel and it never done it again

It's not a cable speedo bud it's got electric clocks in it do who knows still drives fine but need to get it fixed

Now the car will not start nice 1 corsa on the road for 2 days this time

idle control valve or EGR valve i had same problem years and years ago

Problem solved at last crank sensor had went new one fitted car running sweet
