Thanks.
Yeah was Waxoyl, I have the airline spray attachment so was masked up and then sprayed, alot quicker and easier than a brush

Managed to Get a few bits in paint today,

Front and rear bumpers, Morrette facia's and Rear Strut brace (no-pics of the last two atm)

Here's a few pics..

Also Had time to Clean up and Re-fit the front Fogs..

All finished, Just to re-fit the splitter, add the new no. plates and most importantly the NEW Gsi Badge..

Does anyone have any measurements to where the badge should sit??

Looks like a good paint job that mate.

Will it still fit fine without the side mounts?

Not to everyone's taste, but then its not everyone's car Its a high tuned 1.4 atm, its coming off the road for a respray and a Williams Turbo'd engine will be built and replace it.

Just saw the spray guns in the top pic mate, I wasnt taking the piss. most on here do bumpers and wheels etc with just cans and get very good results. I presumed you had done the same.

Looks a great job either way

A bit more progress was made on the GSi,

First up was to sort the boot out, was rusting rather badly around the window seal, and tbh it was past repairing.

Thanks to Jamie he sorted me out with a Replacement bootlid and spoiler, so after a small trip to Luton.. it was time to swap over the boot lid...

Old one off:

(please excuse the junk)

After cleaning all the mould and gunk around the boot rubber, the replacement boot was then fitted:

As you can see from the pics the freshly painted rear bumper has also been fitted

Whilst around the boot area, I thought id take the time to fit my rear OMP strut brace that is now Glacier White...

Fitted and the the strut top covers trimmed so it allowed them to be re-fitted, Looks rather neat imo

Next up was to Re-fit the front splitter, New no. Plates and the most important GSi Badge.

Now for those that remember the Slam pannel had seen better days, It finally got a clean up and a fresh coat of paint... The morettes also got fitted and then soon removed, just didnt like the look so some smoked depo's are on the way...

My Mate Carl then Set about Mopping the whole car to give its shine back .
Pics dont show the true shine, but here's some anyway.

Thanks to Carl for all his help.
Thats all for now, But will some updates soon regarding the engine bay and lights coming soon...
