Depends if you wanna strip any wax from your car or not.
Snow foam is wax safe, some feel it helps, some don't.
All down to personal preference.
Autobrite's Magifoam is probably one of the best.

Its pretty damn good tbh. You can get 2 types too. Normal snow foam won't strip wax but theres a Citrus one that will.

If you are bothered about preventing swirls etc then snow foam is the way forward.

When you first get the kit it takes a bit of trial to get right consistancy etc for best results but its pretty straight forward.

I use snowfoam every time.

All the Pro's use snowfoam. Speaks volumes imo.

5L of snow foam lasts ages too as you only need about 2 inch in bottom of the bottle.

It puts a thick blanket of foam over the car which slowly runs off, pulling alot of the dirt, grit etc off. you then jet wash off any thats left. This means that when you start washing with wash mitt (2 bucket method obv!) you aren't rubbing the grit and dirt over the car.

Also if your car is well coated and sealed with good wax etc you can get away with just jet washing, snow foaming and then jet washing off again before drying. No mitt/buckets needed. Takes a bit of prep to achieve this though and is only possible in summer!

always wondered how you go about using snow foam without getting it on other cars? surely you must get spray like normal hose pipes?

Its not amazing tbh, if i use it i still have to wash the car by hand afterwards to get a finish i'm happy with.

Its not an alternative, its just another stage to add to your wash process

Snowfoam does actually remove dirt from the car because it contains cleaners that breakdown the dirt when its on the car.
I wouldn't be touching my car with a drying towel after just snowfoaming.
No matter how clean the car looks.

So that first link that ben posted attaches on to the end of the hose and the bottle of liquid (the foam) gets poured into the bottle that's attached to the hose? then the water from the hose mixes with the bottle and boom snow foam??

I don't care if it's actually effective or not, it's just so much fun I do it every week

I'm using some Bilt Hamber stuff at the moment, will definately try magifoam when I've run out though - hear some good things about it.
