Near impossible I found on the VXR

Potentially end up doing more damage as its really difficult to get the physical bulb out due to space

I ended up fowling the alignment on it

Also depending on age of car - is it not covered by warranty due to the labour cost

Depends mate - give it a go if you want to

the only reason I ask about warrenty is that my headlight bulb went on my car just before christmas and when I took it the dealers as it requires either front bumper removal or wheel removal to get to arch access they said its covered by the warranty that comes with the car

Granted it wasnt a Vauxhall though

go to a bodyshop and get them to do it, will be alot cheaper than a dealer and they will know better how to get a bumper off if it has to be. If you have some really long nose pliers its not hard to get the bulb spring/clip off and bulb off.

What's warranty got to do with changing a bulb, or even taking the bumper off to change said bulb?

its the way there designing new motors to make it really difficult for changing bulbs hence getting main dealers to do it whick they charge a fortune for a changed a set on a friends clio garage wanted 55quid to replace one its a joke you can do it without removing bumper ive pretty big hands and did it on my corsa vxr but if removing bumper its a doddle

Ibizas are a shit design too, especially for the sidelights and worse on TDi's due to battery size.
