Yes it's a very orange peely finish and to say it pisses me off is an understatement . Hmm maybe , I'll ask Sam who does all my painting and see what he says !!

As far as I'm aware you can't flat and polish powder coat as it will make no difference (I asked my friend this as he owns his own powder coating and alloy wheel refinishing business)

I do agree though, not a very good finish at all.

As you say they have wet painted them which isn't a problem (friend just does oem silvers wet) his others colours Inc black are powder and require no laquer, as when you bake them off they go super glossy! (he's not long done a black set for meguires for a photoshoot and they were impressed)

Make sure you get some pics if you do

Will probably end up buying another in a year or so, I do think they're good little cars, and I'd know how to do things properly rather than just bodged haha

Went and picked up the cage and bits yesterday morning from Sam6 at Prestige!! I couldn't have the colour I wanted so I told sam what I wanted and he picked to colour himself and added some more metallic to it . The colour is really dark and almost look burgundy when its not light up . However when the sun lights on it its very vibrant and metallic which is exactly what I wanted . Anyway here some pics!!

Really happy with how its come out and Sams done an awesome job as usual !! The pictures really done capture the colour that well though .

The underside of the car is looking abit sorry for itself at the moment , needs abit of TLC . Im going to start with painting the spare wheel well black and painting the heat shield silver . Im also going to start tidying up the engine bay . So in a few weeks sam is going to be painting my rocker cover , spark plug cover and all the caps 20R . Along with painting the morettes and airdam grilles .

Definitely gone with the right colour mate,stands out so much against the black. I love how you can see the shiny head bolts.

I reckon a set of RED Sparco Harnesses would look lush against the cage. What you reckon?

Also with the underneath,it'll not take alot of work. A lick of paint will sort it all out. I wonder if you can replace them gromits in wheel well?

Its hard to capture the colour on camera! Youll see it in a couple weeks anyway . But im well happy with it! Hmm na if I change harnesses I ant black ones . Yeah that's what im thinking , just clean up and a lick of paint were I can and that should make a good difference .
