Cheepest insurance I found on a LET conversion was around £3000 .

Fancy an astra tbh :/

Would be a shame to get rid it looks really good, proberly the best C ive seen. Why not put a 1.8 in for a year then get a WG turbo conversion?

So the other day i noticed some more flocked parts were flaking away . So today i set about removing them ready to be boxed up and sent off for re-flocking ! It was only the center tunnel , 1 mirror cover and the glove box hatch . So whipped the center tunnel out and put my original glove box hatch on . I took the gaitors off the handbreak and gearstick as they could do with replacing tbh .



Now ive been thinking of doing this for a while to add to the stripped out theme , but the thing thats been stopping me is the fact that they help to stop debris coming threw the door if i was hit from the side . But i was bored and thought i would try it out so hay ho .




Not fully decided weather there going to stay out yet , more than likely they will

Hmm.

Nice one for getting the bits re flocked mate. I'd deffo not take my cards out as I think they don't suit it. You keeping them like that or getting some cards made up or don't you know haha?

Not really sure dan , was bored and was a spur of the moment decision .

Id love some carbon door cards but at £250 just for the rears its abit pricey !

After I saw one more but flaked I sent all my bits to him to be redone. Is your dash still fine? I'm biting the bullet with door cards! Just not going to think about it

The dash was redone sean , the parts that have flaked off are some of the parts i had done first time around . Pheonix are good enough to sort it out though .

And you mean your getting carbon ones ? Or not having any in ?

Put the doorcards back in imo, looks daft and doesnt save that much weight :/

Yeah he seemed fine about redoing all of mine just thought might aswell send every bit that wasn't reflected off as it will all eventually flake carbon door cards, i know they're pricey but well worth it IMO

Edit: has the dash flaked again since being redone is what I meant, mines been sat in the box since I

Well went out in the car earlier , decided im keeping the tunnel and door cards out . Nic suggested that i should try and re-route the wires threw the inner skin of the door and then paint the primered part . Might do that over the next couple days .
