Take the stickers off, clean it, good photos and a well written ad in Autotrader should see it gone

might seem silly but i think you will struggle to pull £1100 for a standard 12v..

I appreciate its very clean, but that only really appeals to modified car community on a corsa b mate.

Are you on here to troll because thats what it seems like from half your posts. If he wants to advertise it for a grand let him. It may sell to someone if it doesent he can lower the price. I paid £1500 for my sport two years ago bog standard. To the right person its worth that money.
