I know a few people here have RS clios, just wondering if anyone has an Akrapovic exhaust system fitted? If so, what are your comments on it?

I know its more expensive that k-tec's system or supersprint etc, just want to get some opinions before laying down some hard-earned for it.

Best of the best in terms of exhausts. Bloody expensive though. Id personal go for a K-tec or any custom built system. Blueflame, ect ect.

Get yourself onto cliosport.net mate.
All the info you want will be on there.
The supersprint is an awesome bit of kit though and slightly cheaper. Think they do a race system

Wouldn't bother with k-tec's

The had amazing results on a fiat 500 and are expensive if that helps.

I've heard though very little gains on a Clio with non FI performance mods in general, is that true?

I don't get why loads of exhaust companies say they have 'race' systems. If an exhaust is being built for outright performance it will probably be too loud for tracks/racing

its never going to be so badly designed that power is reduced to any sort of noticable level
