how hard is it to remove a steering wheel and will i need a puller to remove it

Can be done without but it's far safer and easier if you have the correct tool to do it.

I kept punching mine off, now it's fucked.

Bought a puller they are so so mu h easier

Sit with your knees putting pressure on the bottom of the wheel while pulling the top of the wheel and get someone to hit the steering column with a hammer and drift. Obviously with the nut still on.. Straight off

unbolt take air bag out.. feet on the dash and pull hard get someone to hit middle with hammer came streight off that way !!

Hit it like fuck with a hammer, should pop off not that hard atall tbh. Rap somthing round the hammer if you don't want to damage the wheel

pullers are like £12 from local motorfactors. Go buy one.

I wouldn't want to hitting the column with a hammer TBH.

I've Never used a puller, Just knees on the bottom and then pull it from all around.

How did you bugger it generation?

Few taps either side of the back of the wheel as close to the spline as you can get with the palm of your hands ad itll come off, no need for hammers or bashing

And out, along with the column. :/
