Just keep the RS man. My mates sold his 450bhp one last month for an X5 and he's regretting it badly.

Nope, he's now in australia stay due to his work.

It's the guy that owns Alloa autocare that used to have it.

The X5 he's got now is the full monty but he misses the raw power the RS had.

an EVO 10 with SST is nearly 1600kg iirc.

Hence with only 330bhp and what is a relatively poor power:weight when you compare with earlier EVO's you may struggle to keep up with the current breed of Turbo'd Hot Hatches.

An EVO is meant to be a fire breathing rally car IMHO and If I where spending 30k I would want it to decimate all.

You could always budget to tune to 400bhp + but I would not want to do that on a brand new car (warranty implications etc).

Not driven one but have read some negative reviews on that SST transmission as well.

Just an alternative view on the idea for you

Colin, please stop looking at 16yr old fanneh magnet cars and treat yourself to a proper Mans Machine :

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3210513.htm

That will decimate almost anything you come across on the road and it will do it all with perfect comfort and refinement.

Hmmm really do not want a M5, will cost a fortune to keep!!

Same with a 4yr old E90 M3 really, fine to own until its needing £650 worth of rear tyres or a £1k service 12 months on!!

Should get something more classy than an Evo or RS or Impreza, they all seem very Toyish to me and the sort of car people want to experience but not so much a keeper.

i suspect your buying by 0-60 times and bhp
