Can anyone tell me how to get my shower working?
It will not heat up.? It's a Triton and it's the water is coming out cold. I
Now this all worked this morning but kept going hot and cold but I thought it was cos my wife wad washing up!

Any ideas folks

Electric shower?

How old is it? They never last that long especially down here because it's a hard water area - Probably 2-3 years. I replaced mine in the summer because it broke.

Put the light on, if it dont dim when the shower powers on most likely the heater unit is broke.

Could be a presure switch stuck due build up of lime scale as sugested.

Hardest part will be getting the cover off as the retaining screw will be rusted up most likely.

Got a picture? The reason I ask is when we moved into this house two of the en-suites had electric showers and there is four setting on a dial off, cold,one bar, two bar (sound like a turbo yo) and the design of the dial made it look like it was switched onto the hottest setting but was in fact set to cold. Much to my amusement when the wife first had a go...

Could be that simple??

put a multimeter across element and check resitance, if its open circuit element has gone. personally id replace shower can get a triton 8.5kw from screwfix for £70.
