I can deffo agree with that Gambit..the quoted 0-60 is 10.2...it is no were near that slow...as with all car company's the quoted 0-60 etc are with a few passengers and some luggage..this is to keep the insurance grouping down...also as gambit said they wanted to keep the figures out of the range of the Puma...thus justifying people paying extra for it...
And yes the Zetec-S looks better than any STD corsa out IMHO.
Steve - It may be slow in comparison to the GTI but theres about 6 insurance groups in difference the Zetec-S being group 7 and the GTI being 13-14 something like that isnt it?

i notice that white van drivers seem to pick races with me. An i also notice kiddies in standard cars try and show off. I just piss them off and do the speed limit, that way its more fun,.

and i know for a fact the VTR drivers have more experiance than me, and drive their cars very hard!!!
(i was screamin my festa up to 80 in 3rd so kept up with VTRs to 90 )

From my experience the Zetec S isn't quicker than a 1.6 16V sport. There is an example of both cars knocking around by me, see them race every now and again, the Corsa wins every time but the Zetec S is getting closer, but saying that he is putting some time and money into getting it running well.

the 1.25 is not as quick as a VTR. end of the story. thts a pefetic comparision. my m8 from coll has a fezzy, and a old school mate a VTR, neither r fast, but the 1.25 wouldnt stay within a mile of the VTR. I have raced both. the vtr pulls away ALOT faster.
