Tasty. KW Clubsports. One of the first VXR's in the UK to have these and I believe the first set only came into the UK around August, so for now they're pretty exclusive!

Once that was all in we went for a test drive. My idea of a slow test drive to check everythings done up properly is very different from Garrys But it was awesome. Car pulls so well without all the weight in it, almost seems a shame to put the cage in!
We are going to try and weigh it before it goes back in, just to see how much it weighs, we reckon it's easily 100kgs.

So whilst on the test drive I thought I'd do a film so you could hear how epic it sounds, he has a new exhaust too which is designed around flow rates etc rather than just a few bits of pipe shaped to fit. Torque Developments or something? Can't remember exactly now. But it's 3" and straight though.

(no idea why the video has flipped sideways as it's not like that on my phone/computer, but it's just for sound purposes anyway)

Still lots of tar to remove as you can see.

Haven't updated it for a while but basically it's now got Carbon Vents (these were for a purpose due to engine getting red hot on track)
Bonnet lifters
Carbon rear doorcards
Back painted white
Cut headlining back
Steering wheel & boss

Just bought a GT30 and other goodies which he hopes to have fitted before we go Ring in April. I helped him fit the cage back in tonight and what a bitch those door bars are!!

All done

To be fitted

Yeah I make you right Steve. The back section is seriously heavy ap I reckon it's about 40kg. And the front section doesn't weight as much as the back so 60kg is a good guess
He wants to go on a weigh bridge soon to see what it weighs

Garry's words:

"it's a custom made primary designs manifold they do all the high powered cossie stuff and the turbo is far from just an off the shelf gt30 it's all been stripped and rebuilt with Bigger exhaust housing and waste gate insert, bigger lighter compressor and machined cover, bigger turbine with cut back blades. I can't wait to pick it up"

Turbo, manifold & downpipe fitted with a base map being used on the IPF unit (similar to Bluefin) until they get a weekend to spend mapping it properly

I can only describe it as a fucking rocket, I have never felt something pull as hard as this! I thought there would be alot more traction issues but it holds the road pretty well on Eagle F1's. The corners are interesting as at the moment you get a whack of power at 3k rpm then again at 5k so it's not the best for cornering, considering we go to Nurburgring in 2 and a half weeks
He is happy with it but is quite anxious about the delivery of it, but I think he just needs to get used to it

I need to supercharge my M3 now....
