What kind of options are there for parking in & around Hyde Park & how much will it rape me for doing so?

Alternatively if there are any places to park outside of London & then travel in? Knightsbridge is the nearest tube stop according to google maps

I know some of you probably make this kind of journey on a daily basis so some first hand experiences would be useful

Appreciate any help from your southern faries

No such thing as park and ride.

You will get raped for parking. There will be no free street parking as nearly all of it is metered. Parking on the street is between £2.20 and hour to £3.00 an hour.
Carpark wise, they are about the same rate and cost about £20+ for 12 hours plus.

Only time it's free is a Sunday and bank holiday when you can park on single yellow lines.

Ouch

What about options for getting the tube? Is there an easy station to park at & then get the train in?

I'd be coming from oop north, most likely M1 or A1

Sounds like a good idea but that answer is 5 years old. Is it still the case?

Parkway is a good shout. Anywhere just outside London and getting a train in would be my choice.
