Obviously a customers car but im really excited.
When it came in it was just a rolling shell.
Didnt actually take any pics but here's how it looks now





the shells not that bad for a 1979 car, only a few patches of rust.
got new rear arches and rear panel, and the bay will be semi smooth too, similar to the white one with the four spoke wheels

do you sort out the rust? do you weld and fabricate much?

found out the to replace my rusty corner of sill is £110 + vat

is that just metal work or painted? presume just metal work.

i do all the repairs, using genuine parts where possible and for small bits i just make them

Do you like doing jobs like this Tom? Ive just done a G reg Nova SR, two new wings, new wheel arch peice on one side, and a repaint bar the roof. I dont really like working on stuff like that, rust and shit. But when its done and looking nice, its nice to see the end result.

Steve this what I love doing. Accident repair pays the bills and gives a bit of satisfaction but completly redoing a car from the ground up does put a smile on your face.
Can't wait to cut the arches off.
