£500 is a bit steep for a phone, then again I bought my 3GS nearly two years ago for £440 (I think) so cant say much 
I'm going to keep the 3GS for another year until the iphone 5 comes out (if it ever does)

He sends it out to someone who bought it on ebay. Then when the buyer receives it he claims to Paypal that the box was empty. The seller cannot prove the phone was actually in the box, so Paypal refund the buyer the full amount.

They receive your phone, say it's not as described, paypal will ask them to send it back, they send back a box without the phone(but with something the same weight) and show paypal the proof of postage, paypal refund them.
This is why I might just take it back apple if I decide not keep it. End up waiting forever for paypal do anything too. Wish you could put it as BIN and set minimum feedback of 100.

Ive still not heard, when mine got proccessed it said it will get dispatched on the 14th, however i dont quite think i will. Im waiting for a email to confirm.
Im hopping less people went for the 64gb so i get mine sooner!

No fucker at O2 has any idea whats happening. I was told they keep stock for customers such as myself with large accounts then today some agent says thats not true. When i told them they did it for the 4 they were all flustered. I am threatening to close my account if they ask me to queue at a store for one :rage: and take my money elsewhere. I am now expecting a call off a account manager when I arrive back in the UK on wednesday.

I think the reports are from the courier to say that its been arrange and some claim collected.
UPS did the same with the last release. They obviously had the deliveries ready to go but held them till the date of delivery to dispatch. Sensible really as you can spread the distribution load across a few days.
They won't deliver one early by accident. The contract is worth millions, they won't put it at risk.

I'm tempted to just stick a BIN up and say if it's received in time I'll post Saturday special delivery.
Knowing my luck though they'll be delayed then I'll get bad feedback.
