 | Selling a Vectra, link in my sign.

It's up for £1150, got two offers tonight, one for £500 and another for £20.

What are these people on. I could understand the one for £500 if it wasn't running or didn't have tax and test but £20 made me LOL, might accept it just to meet the guy and laugh in his face.

Not just eBay, car sales in general. Although everyone on eBay wants to pay half of what things are worth

 | I gave more than that as a non-runner, not sure £500 is a bad offer if it was tatty shitter which doesn't go.

If it doesn't go for that I'll put it back on for £995 with no tax and make another £50.

I had my megane up for £7.5k and got offerd £5.2k for it, and he kept hounding me untill he offerd £6k to which i still told him to do one. He was telling me that 'they go for that all day long on ebay', to which i said where, and he said on ebay now. I said go and buy on of them then; why are you bothering me?

 | I've never bid £20 for a car that weighs in at £220 and has bits to sell for £300+ though.

£500 bid, fair play, non-runner it would go for that. I've priced it high to come down, hence why I'm taking offers. But £20, it's never possibly ever worth that. If you set fire to it you couldn't even reduce its value that far.
