not me my missus

parked at the side of a road where there was a nearby event (airshow)

on her side of the road there were NO "no parking" cones in fact on that side there were non for quite some distance at least a few hundred meters. There were however cones on the other side of the road

got a ticket for 70quid, correct or not?

Harsh one mate. And Thing is it wasn't even in Brighton it was in Lewes , in one of the quietest streets there is for a matter of mins haha

If the ticket is ignored further costs will be added. As long as your missus took pictures of the surrounding area where the car was & the cones & send them in to the council with a letter you will get a response.

If you can't go through life without thinking that a heated windscreen will add extra weight, then you have no chance of being able to cope knowing your GF hasn't paid a parking fine.

My dad got one for parking on double yellows and he refused to pay, they gave up when my dad told them to take him to court. God knows why as they had photo evidence too
