 parked at the side of a road where there was a nearby event (airshow)
 
 on her side of the road there were NO "no parking" cones in fact on that side there were non for quite some distance at least a few hundred meters. There were however cones on the other side of the road
 
 got a ticket for 70quid, correct or not?

 | If the ticket is ignored further costs will be added. As long as your missus took pictures of the surrounding area where the car was & the cones & send them in to the council with a letter you will get a response.

 My dad got one for parking on double yellows and he refused to pay, they gave up when my dad told them to take him to court. God knows why as they had photo evidence too
