 | looking at getting a new set for my clio 172.

been looking at a few different makes, just undecided which ones would be best.

Ap seem really good quality- http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AP-Coilover-Kit-Renault-Sport-Clio-B-2-0i-16v-172-/320474273866?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4a9dc1584a

 K-Tec's own make- http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=2853&appid=2

 FK's Kit- http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FK-LOWERING-COILOVER-KIT-RENAULT-CLIO-MK2-172-182-98-05-/260791639829?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3cb8649f15

haven't really looked at vmaxx, but they're in the budget. any good??

 any other suggestions welcome

 | K tec seem to be a respected clio tuner so id expect them to produce a decent suspension kit

 | thats good to know dan, cheers

k-tec's do seem good value for money, and no pissing about changing damping settings ect. Chris, ive already got Gaz coilovers on my car. Not too keen on them and they've seen better days tbh

 | Just asked a friend of mine, who owns a 182 Trophy, works for BTM Performance and races a KTM Xbow, his reply was Bilstien B4 or kw v2 or asts

 | whats his name antnee? he's off cliosport.net?

i've looked into the B4's. dont really fancy going down OEM replacements with lowering springs tbh.

 the KW v2's are £1,220
  'slightly' over the budget

 | whenever upgrading to coilovers just make sure youve already done the most important mod beforehand... upgrade to some nice comfy but stiff hugging seats, recaro's/sparco/bride coilovers and springy seats are a fail... never been in a clio so dunno what the seats are like

tbh, the clio seats are ok, hug you in quite well and are comfy. Didn't think a coilover thread would go onto seats
