Yeah I've hammered it with drill wire brush bits, just gets the rust and dirt off !! It's worth it when people notice the work I'm doing

More coats yet

I'm hoping to tackle the gearbox this week and start cleaning that while the engine will be dry

***UPDATE 6/3/2012 ***

Well ive been none stop lately to even update but ive been still buying stuff and doing bits and bobs

on the engine when i can really so ... heres some pictures how i got on

Ill start with the starter motor i got off GregGsi cheers pal




Just tidied it up with abit of paint and just spraying the bracket silver at the min



The car was getting on my nerves so cleaned it inside and out



Used meguiars tyre shine and its awesome



























Got this GSI rad for a £10 Bakes collected it for me cheers Alex



And my mate got me some corsa B black ice air fresheners haha



And my other mate got me a sticker lol



Won these yesterday so ill fit them at weekend



Bought axle stands



Another tin of engine lacquer



Had to get my paint matched for the powercap and L piece



Done another coat of lacquer on the engine aswell heres how its looking








Thats it for know, im going collecting some clear depos off GregGsi tommorow

so ill keep everyone updated thanks for reading cheers

Good progress on the engine Kyle mate,the car looks good aswell. Only thing letting it down for me is the rear vauxhall stickers.

No just the powercap and the L piece, I'm having the rocker and cam cover powder coated white

And I'll be spraying the end of the dizzy cap the same colour aswell did you take yours off to spray it ? Or while it was on ?

Looks well i used that engine black paint its bubbled in places and looks wank now especially were the breather pipe has been leaking. I would buy a dizzy seal while your at it there prone to leaking

well finally got the depos in !! im so chuffed theyve made the car look so much better !! Also couldnt

resist cleaning it again And i think my 1.0 engine thats in at the min is dieing really bad its

burning oil for fun i think the stem oil seals have well and truly gone




































I finally got rid of the big white griffin stickers
