Well what would you have??

Bearing in mind you'd have a 'Family' car like a 4x4 etc so this is for using for short business trips and generally hooning around.

I've found it pretty difficult you don't have enough enough to buy something sweet outright like a 911 or GTR but you can have loads of normal cars that aren't exactly suited to that type of wealth ala VXR/FRS/Golf GTI.

You could PCP a proper motor for circa £900 a month seeing as the monthly income would be approx 10k!

Any thoughts??

ooofft gorgeous car and an awesome sound to it, but i would of said that'd get used more of a toy than business use as id be soooo pissed off if some one opened a car door on it or anything like that

(that was aimed at the vantage)

The 1M looks amaizing but only 400 getting made there's no chance!

Sat in an RS5 at the weekend and...well OMG

GTR is up there but the image puts me off? Lexus ISF is another alternative but a bit boring looks wise.

Why would you have a car on finance if you earnt that amount?

My dad is on about that and has a fiesta, ohh and a 911 GT3.

I personally would just buy a new shape VXR8 after I had saved up £50k.

Yeah, i thought going down the finance route was an odd one too, but its his game/hypothetical situation.

£5442 a month is what you will take home. According to the online tax calculator, not as much as you thought. Sometimes a lower wage is better.

£100k is ~£5.5k a month take home.
£150k is ~£7.5k a month take home.

Finance would almost definitely be required for most of the cars suggested in here unless you saved for a few years.

I'd put the cash into some classic British metal, a Rover P6 or a Triumph Dolomite Sprint and a garage to keep it away from the elements. I have a new diesel for everything else, but an old motor would be an occasional treat.

Maybe not though; a new Jaguar XJ would be quite enticing.

What if you're a contractor & own your own company. You pay yourself a minimum wage and withdrawl the rest from the company as dividends

For the sake of this "hypothetical" situation, why don't we just assume he's talking after tax...
Typical for cs to get all technical and smart arse about things
